Stepping up to bat for our tamariki

We are proud to be the Principal Partner of the Auckland Cricket BatFirst Programme, alongside our Local Doctors clinics, and to support many tamariki, their whānau and the community in their overall education and social development.

One of the biggest barriers for children being physically active is having the tools to start. BatFirst aims to reduce that barrier by putting a cricket bag and ball into the hands of every Year 3 child attending a Decile 1 – 5 school in Auckland.

Since 2019:

• 58 schools engaged
• 422 year 3 classes participated
• 9364 kids have received a BatFirst

We believe every family deserves access to the tools for a healthy, active life. If your child has already been a part of this initiative, we would love to hear from you.
