On 13 January 2025, we will be merging our Leabank and Manurewa Healthcare clinics, to create one bigger, better, stronger team. Combining resources, we’ll be able to provide better care to our patients and more support for our workforce.
The full Leabank team (including Dr Edwin, Dr Emeline, Nurse Prescriber Kamaldeep, Nurse Practitioner Alysha, Nurse Wendy, Healthcare Technician Vai and Medical Receptionist Sneha) will move to Manurewa Healthcare and are looking forward to welcoming all Leabank enrolled patients from Monday 13 January.
The appointment book and all patient files will transfer with them. Before this date, the Leabank clinic will operate as usual.

Why are the two clinics merging?
By combining resources into one, we will be able to provide better care for our patients and more support for our workforce. We’ll have a bigger team, with more availability and a better peer network, to ensure our patients get the very best care.

What happens to Leabank enrolled patients?
Enrolled patients of Leabank will be automatically transferred to Manurewa Healthcare on Monday 13 January 2025.

I have an appointment in January - where should I go?
Leabank will operate as usual until 5.00pm on Friday 10 January, at the current Leabank Clinic location, at 100 Weymouth Road.
From Monday 13 January 2025 all appointments will be at Manurewa Healthcare, located at 210 Great South Road, Manurewa. We recommend that patients allow extra time to find their way for the first time.

Is there free parking at Manurewa Healthcare clinic?
Yes, there is plenty of free parking near the clinic, off Newhook Lane. Patients can park there for free, for up to 120mins. Allow approx. 1 min to walk to the clinic.

Yes, enrolled patient medical consultation fees are the same at both clinics.
